WTA UK is the first and the single largest non-levy paying company to sign up for the new International Freight Forwarding Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship. Merlin Supply Chain Solutions Ltd is delivering this exciting new qualification which covers specialist training in Customs Procedures, Customer Service, Business Finance and provides an opportunity for each employee to choose a specialised pathway.

Our apprentice programme provides an excellent opportunity to develop a career with a successful, international, family-owned freight management company who take a keen interest in helping you achieve success.
You will be working in a team environment, learning all the key operational aspects of the business, with a focus in either imports, exports or airfreight, depending on location. To ensure you have a comprehensive training, we combine your external training with on the job training with a dedicated mentor.
You will work towards nationally recognised Customer Service and Shipping qualifications. In year 1, you’ll be focusing on Level 2 Customer Service and will attend shipping related training.
In year 2, you’ll have the opportunity to take on level 3, putting you in a great position to progress within our business.
If you show a passion for a particular area of our business, level 4 will be available to you. As everyone is different, we provide a personal development plan to help align your talents and ambitions and help you reach your potential.
INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT MANAGEMENT APPRENTICE
