Specialist medical equipment road freight service

When a specialised medical company reached out to WTA seeking to send vital equipment to various European destinations, our road freight experts rose to the challenge.

About the client

A leading medical equipment company who distribute their goods all over Europe for clinical trials.

The challenge

WTA regularly handles the shipment of ultra-low temperature freezers to various European delivery locations. This complex operation often involves multiple delivery locations on the same vehicle. With the client working to tight deadlines, each trailer needs to shipped express as part of this white-glove service.

How we helped

WTA’s team of experts coordinate the complete journey of the shipments. Each delivery is required to be on a tail-lift vehicle. Goods are collected, loaded, and transported to the destination country and specific medical clinic. Once the delivery arrives at the clinic, WTA arranges the movement of the goods into the building. WTA unpack the freezers and responsibly dispose of the packaging. Once clinical trials are completed, we returned to the location to repack the goods and manage the return of equipment back to the origin base.

How we do it

Expert teams and trusted 3rd-party suppliers enable us to provide this bespoke solution allowing the customer to meet demands readily. WTA took away the stress of the entire delivery process, allowing the clinical trials to start without delay.
