The Application Support Analyst is a new role within the IT Team at WTA and is pivotal to the ongoing transformation of the internal and external technical and operational service offering.
The primary objective of the role is to support, review, design and implement business system changes, working closely with operational teams to enhance our system deliverables and client experience.
1. Support and develop our core enterprise transport management system (Cargowise)2. Working with our Systems Integration Manager to support new and existing software solutions3. Supporting multiple IT projects and business units whilst working to tight deadlines4. To communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organisation as a whole5. Investigate, diagnose and resolve system faults and technical issues6. Identify system development opportunities, implement, test and integrate approved recommendations7. Support staff and teams when deploying recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues8. Create and deliver business intelligence reporting using Tableau and Power Bi9. Undertake any other duties appropriate to the job as may be reasonably required.
