Application Support Analyst

The Application Support Analyst is a new role within the IT Team at WTA and is pivotal to the ongoing transformation of the internal and external technical and operational service offering.

Key Role

The primary objective of the role is to support, review, design and implement business system changes, working closely with operational teams to enhance our system deliverables and client experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support and develop our core enterprise transport management system (Cargowise)
2. Working with our Systems Integration Manager to support new and existing software solutions
3. Supporting multiple IT projects and business units whilst working to tight deadlines
4. To communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organisation as a whole
5. Investigate, diagnose and resolve system faults and technical issues
6. Identify system development opportunities, implement, test and integrate approved recommendations
7. Support staff and teams when deploying recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues
8. Create and deliver business intelligence reporting using Tableau and Power Bi
9. Undertake any other duties appropriate to the job as may be reasonably required.
