Freight Account Manager - WTA USA

Key Role


Secure new LCL business on key trade routes to achieve defined target in line with company growth strategy and maintain lifetime ownership of CSM responsibilities. This role will ultimately become a multimodal client development position.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new prospects through online resources to develop pipeline.
  • Search and locate new data sources for prospect generation.
  • Research prospect for current WTA client status.
  • Secure new LCL business through calls to new prospects, opening up all market opportunities.
  • Issue automated, accurate quotes through Cargowise and follow up timely.
  • Load prospect data into Hubspot to join lifecycle stage and commence marketing activity.
  • Input secured shipment information into Cargowise for handover to the operations teams.
  • Ensure all milestones meet time requirements and update client of all milestones events.
  • Instant and proactive response to all client communication.
  • Work closely with the Operations Team when required, to ensure service excellence throughout.
  • Encourage new client to complete a ‘how did we do’ survey on completion of each job.
  • Complete other duties of the job, as requested
  • At all times represent and act in the best interest of the company, the shareholders and the employees
